Fire Academy Programs
The Edinburg Fire Department offers community programs designed to educate the public about fire service operations and strengthen relationships within our community. These programs provide participants with a behind-the-scenes look at how the department protects and serves the residents of the City of Edinburg.
Through interactive sessions and presentations from firefighters, paramedics, and specialized personnel, participants will learn about fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and other essential areas of the fire service.

Teen Fire Academy
A one-week program designed to provide teens with hands-on experience and insight into the fire service profession. Participants will learn fire safety, emergency response procedures, leadership, teamwork and basic lifesaving skills through interactive training, demonstrations and educational activities led by fire department personnel.
