Hangar Options
T-Hangars: The airport rents four enclosed T-hangars, approximately 1,000 sq ft each, clustered in one building within the airfield. Currently, all are occupied.
Box Hangars: We also have 16 enclosed units of varying sizes—40’ x 40’, 40’ x 42’, and 50’ x 60’—all located within the airfield. These rentals are also currently occupied.
Tenant-Built Hangars': South Texas International Airport at Edinburg has embarked on its East Hangars Development Project, by which we are installing new taxilanes and ramps to facilitate new tenants’ construction of aircraft hangars for their own use or for subleasing to private, commercial, flight training, and maintenance aviation customers.
Hangar Waiting List: If you are interested in hangar space, please fill out the EBG Hangar Waiting List Form. Although EBG-owned hangars are all occupied, we diligently refer to the waiting list in the event of a vacancy, determining the listee who has waited the longest and matching their aircraft (one or multiple) to the size of the availability. Our typical hangar lease consists of a primary term of one year, with the possible offer of one additional one-year option.
Hangar waiting listees may also be notified by airport staff if aircraft storage opportunities become available through a third-party development.
