What to Expect

A two week long program designed to introduce participants to careers in the fire service and emergency response. Learn firsthand about core fire department operations such as fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical services, fire prevention, and emergency preparedness. Meet today's fire service leaders in Edinburg and explore what it takes to become a firefighter or paramedic, including the skills and training required in the fire academy.

Schedule & Eligibility

• Monday - Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Must reside inside Edinburg City Limits. Residency will be verified by the Edinburg Fire Department
