Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals

The Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals' purpose is that of providing for the final interpretation of provisions of the Building Code and Fire Code. Community Development Council

The Community Development Council (CDC) advises the City Council on community development priorities, policies, and the allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The CDC reviews proposed projects, assesses community needs, supports public engagement, monitors program performance, and provides input on key planning documents, including the Consolidated Plan (Con Plan), Annual Action Plan (AAP), Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), and Citizen Participation Plan (CPP). CDC meetings and public hearings are open to the public and are typically held on the second Thursday of each month, as needed.

Downtown District Steering Committee Board Members

The purpose of the Committee is to improve the Downtown District which includes the two main thoroughfares, Closner Boulevard and University Drive. The Committee will identify the areas of ownership and zoning, finance and economic development, community use, compare similar communities, and conduct community outreach practices.
