Applications and Guidelines

Prior to submitting a Building Safety application, applicants may be required to meet with the Planning & Zoning Department if there are potential site plan and/or plat review and approval requirements. For questions, please contact Planning and Zoning at (956)-388-8202.

Inspections Request

Inspections for work performed under permitted projects must be requested by the general contractor. When requesting an inspection, please provide clear and detailed project information, including the permit number, company name, contact phone number, inspection type, and project address. Any required re-inspection fees must be paid before a re-inspection can be scheduled.

All inspections, including scheduling, obtaining your inspection time window, or rescheduling, must be done through the Building Safety Department at (956)-388-8203 or Citizen Self-Service Portal .

Please note: Payments in-person will not be accepted after 4:30 PM.
