National Night Out

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual community-building event held in the United States to promote partnerships between police and the communities they serve, with the goal of making neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. We are proud to host National Night Out every year and enjoy getting to know our residents. Residents can enjoy great food, free musical entertainment, free carnival rides and much more all while getting to know the Edinburg Police officers. National Night Out is held every year on the first Tuesday of August. This is a chance for residents to get to know the 'human behind the badge' with personal interaction with officers and other specialized agencies. Learn about crime prevention, safety and other community resources at this free event.
