Solid Waste Management
Welcome! Since 1978, the City of Edinburg has provided its citizens with environmentally sound solid waste collection and disposal services through the Division of Solid Waste Management. In 1994, this division was established as a fully fledged City Department which now offers a full range of collection, disposal, recycling and environmental services to meet the needs of each resident and/or commercial customer. Our goal is to provide our residents/ customers with exemplary customer service and a safe, efficient and economical waste collection, processing and disposal system. This means that we will work closely with our community and commit ourselves to provide for the highest quality of service possible and promote ourselves in being responsible stewards of our City in order to protect the natural environment, our citizens and employees in order to preserve quality of life today and into the future.
