City of Edinburg Begins Construction on New Water Tower

Edinburg, TX - The City of Edinburg has begun construction on a new 1-million gallon water tower that will help to provide improved water service to residents.
The tower, located north of Monte Cristo Road and Closner Boulevard, will provide additional water storage while maintaining and improving water pressure in the area. In addition, approximately 1,800 linear feet of new water line will be installed to feed the water tower.
City staff will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 3925 N. Business Highway 281 on Thursday, November 30, to unveil the project to the community at
10:30 a.m.
