Special
Conditions:
- Brush
- must be free of any waste material not defined as brush (brush
must be clean)
- Construction
& Demolition- concrete or block must not exceed brick sizeTrash
must not contain hazardous wastes
- Appliances-
written proof must be provided that refrigerant (CFC) has been
properly removed from refrigerators and air conditioners, if no
proof is available the compressors must be removed before acceptance
- Tires-
rims must be removed, maximum size must not exceed 11.00 x 22
- Class
II/ Maquiladora Waste- Requires prior authorization, waste profile
sheet and manifesting
- Non-Regulated
Asbestos- Requires prior authorization, waste profile sheet and
manifesting

Sludges- Requires prior authorization, waste profile sheet and

prior authorization for disposal

Applicability
of Fees

Fees
are applicable to all users of the landfill with exception of City
Residents hauling household trash, appliances or brush.
A current water bill is required for confirmation of residency.
This exception does not apply to any construction material which
shall be charged at gate rates.

of construction being conducted within the city limits of the
City of Edinburg must be provided by the contractor or individual
performing the services prior to disposal and is subject to
verification. Rate is subject to applicable surcharges, disposal
fees, local and state taxes, etc. |

entities, waste haulers, contractors, or individuals disposing
of waste generated from outside the City of Edinburg shall be
charged for the use of city-owned or -maintained landfill as
follows: |
