Code Enforcement The
Code Enforcement Division takes an active approach with contractors and developers
to complete construction projects in a timely and environmentally conscious manner
according with adopted city codes and ordinances. Duties and responsibilities
include reviewing building permit applications and coordinating the issuance of
said permit with other City Departments, County and State agencies when necessary,
and the inspection of same including building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical,
repair, remodeling, additions, pools, sprinkler systems and miscellaneous. The
division generates monthly reports indicating activities, value and permit fees
collected. The division additionally enforces the City's regulations related to
the removal of substandard structures, junked vehicles, mowing of weedy lots and
other public nuisances. |

AM - Morning Inspections Need to be requested between 12 noon the
previous working day and 6:59 am the same day. PM - Afternoon Inspections
Need to be requested between 7:00 am and 11:59 am the same day.
- Building permits
are required for new construction, remodeling, repairs, additions.

Demolition permits are required when demolishing structures.

Moving permits are required when moving a structure into the city or to move a
structure out of the city.
