Community Development Housing Assistance Department

The Housing Assistance Program has been working toward improving the overall living conditions in the community by leveraging funds provided by federal, state and local agencies. The Housing Assistance Program assists eligible residents with the rehabilitation/or reconstruction of their homes. Residents must reside in the city limits of Edinburg and meet certain requirements established by the Housing Assistance Department. The gross family income must be at or below 80% of the median income level as shown below (HUD income Guidelines – effective May 14, 2010). For more information, please contact us at (956) 388-8206.
