City Secretary

The office of City Secretary is devoted to providing the best support and services to the City Mayor, City Council Members, City Staff and Edinburg Citizens. This office performs an assortment of duties including processing permit applications, publication of all legal notices, advisory board memberships and code of ordinance supplements.

One of the primary tasks of the City Secretary is to prepare the agenda for the City Council meetings and record the minutes for each meeting.

Another primary task is to conduct and oversee the Mayoral and City Council Member elections and stay up to date on all election laws and procedures.
